You could not hold your head up.
You could not fend off ravening lemurs.
Those pesky lemurs. |
You could not look contemplative while wearing a girly outfit.
She's so good with power tools she can afford to wear bows. |
When last you were twelve weeks, I already loved you, though I was afraid to love you, for fear you'd vanish.
Then, I had no real evidence of your existence. Now I can hold you in my arms, so warm and strong.
Then, you were an enigma. Now you are my own dear daughter.
Then, I could not drink. Now I can have a margarita.
So cute!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteomg, i am in love with her in the first picture. soooo freaking adorable. cloth diapers are sooo pretty and cutesy!
ReplyDeleteLook at that face, and all that hair! Love it! She's so cute!!!
ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful and I LOVE this post!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove this! We're nearly at that other 12 weeks now. :) She's so CUTE!
ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteShe's so adooooorable! She is totally kicking tummy time's ass! O hated it and would scream her head off at 12 weeks. Loved your little poem too. You're too cute. ;)
ReplyDeleteI like the angle of the first shot - like you just barely caught her on film before she broke out of the frame.
ReplyDeleteShe is so contemplative and grown up in her bows. And so CUTE! That hair! I love it!
ReplyDelete(ps, I TOLD you that tummy time would get better! The head lifting is awesome. Nice work, Bun Bun.)
What a delish chunka monkey in her little Brown girly outfit! Let's hear it for real live take home babies and margaritas!
ReplyDeleteBut where are her bite marks? Surely you must be nomming her day and night?
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that hair. In the last picture, she reminds me of Thom Yorke. Which means she will start a kickass rock band and be all creative and famous and you can quite your job and be taken care of and stuff. Sweet.
Hey, you asshole lemurs! Keep your rascally ringed tails off that CAH-UTE CUDDLY BAYBEE BUN!
ReplyDeleteX
haha... Love it. She's so damn cute.
ReplyDeleteShe is beyond adorable! Love the reflection on early pregnancy and the line about margaritas!! luv it
ReplyDeleteI raise a margarita to this post. Baby bun bun is beyond adorable...and that outfit! I am such a sucker for tastefully feminine baby clothes......and, lest I forget, with that head control, she is destined to be a very skilled user of power tools.
ReplyDeleteGo bun bun!!! well done, mama bunny!
ReplyDeleteWe need to take some lessons from you guys and try and kick our lax tummy time schedule. I think he's had about 10 minutes in the last week. I shouldn't admit that I guess! Will try harder tomorrow and maybe in a few weeks he'll be up to where bun bun is!
ReplyDeleteNice Work!
Go Bun Bun go! Today it's lifting her head up ... tomorrow, she may just take over the world in her cute outfit with the little bow.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 12 weeks, Bun Bun! She's gorgeous :).
ReplyDeleteHappy 12 weeks old day, Bun Bun! Bunny, she is ADORABLE!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI laughed out loud at the margarita shout-out. So. True. :)
xoxo
Wonderful post!
ReplyDeleteBun Bun is so delicious and sweet. AND she uses power tools and kicks ass in the tummy time department. Not surprisingly, you have an overachiever on your hands there, Bunny. It's a much different 12 weeks than it was back in fall 2010. It was just about this time last year that you got the BFP. Amazing how things change in 1 year.
ReplyDeleteAdorable muppet hair!
ReplyDeleteAh, look at BunBun - so powerful and logical!
ReplyDeleteAnd so utterly dotey. (Word carefully selected for gender neutrality).
Beautiful. Bows, power tools and margaritas.
ReplyDeleteBut most of all: Bun Bun.
