¡Arriba!

Goodness! Working all day every day sure does cut into my sharing-my-every-precious-thought-and-feeling-with-all-y'all time. But I wanted to share this.

A Cinco de Mayo birthday para el Bun Bun--muy fantástico.

Although...should I trust them with my uterus when they don't know how parentheses work?

  1. well, presumably the person who wrote up the sheet and the person performing the c-section are different peeps, so i'm sure you're in good hands :o) omg, 5/5 is just around the corner!! when is your last day of work then?

  2. Oh boy!!!!! Lucky you, now your kid can have Mexican themed b-day parties! Better learn how to make a piñata! Getting the date for my c-section made it all feel very real (which was exciting but kinda scary too!)

  3. I like the mad libs style this invokes. You are having a donkey (noun) via your boobs (body part) at eleventy (time) o'clock. See what the world would be like if I was in charge? Well, for one, I'd get the appointment note sorted for grammarz. Sheesh.

Otherwise, holy-freaking-cow! That's not far off. I am super duper thrilled for you and cannot wait to see what arrives when that pin~ata's cracked. Andele!

  5. Yeah, I sort of doubt that anyone who will actually be in the operating room had anything to do with creating the form. Parentheses schmarentheses.

    El conejo* is coming!

    *I just googled that.

  8. My birthday is May 6, so obviously I am heartbroken that your doctor couldn't wait one more day so Bun Bun and I could share a birthday party every year...but, anyway, HUZZAH!

You realize that is in a few short weeks, right? I highly recommend you sleep in as much as you can, go into work late, and be lazy on the weekends. You'll thank me later.

  11. Que bien!
I would make sure that the person who writes the notes (or the template) isn't the one actually in charge of getting Bun Bun out... just in case ;)

  16. El fantastico! Um, okay, that is probably bad grammar or something but we don't learn Spanish down here. Ha.

Certainly not. Wouldn't be trusting my lady parts with people who can't use brackets. Love how you only have to report one hour early. :)

Soon to see Bun Bun! For reals! So exciting!

  18. Caaaaaan't wait! I can't believe how quickly your pregnancy has gone by (easier for me to say, right?!) ;) I'm going to drink a Corona in honor of you on Bun Bun's birthday. I might even wear a sombrero!

  20. Forget your uterus, Bunny; I try not to even interact with people who don't use parentheses correctly. This is so very exciting--and so SOON!!! You're havin' a BABY!!!! And that is awesome. xoxo

  23. A cinco de mayo bebe! Obligatory photograph of newborn with photoshopped sombrero requested by your readership, please.

You gave me a good laugh over the parentheses. I'm sure their lack of attention to detail pertains only to paper:)
