Remember Viking Rune Candle Lady?

Long time readers may recall the woman who gave me the VIKING RUNE CANDLE. She's the wife of a friend of Mr. Bunny's, and while we are not at all close, she knew about my IF because she herself had been through six miscarriages and was very open about the whole thing, so I opened up to her a little. At the time the VIKING RUNE CANDLE (it has to be capitalized) was presented to me, she was early into her seventh pregnancy. Mr Bunny mentioned to me last night that she had a baby boy a few weeks ago. I was totally overjoyed. She is a really weird lady, but it makes me so happy to think that she MADE IT. I know success stories for RPL abound, and there's no reason why this one should mean anything to those of you suffering through the experience, but... After the VIKING RUNE CANDLE had been sitting around the house for a few weeks, I finally lit it and said a secular prayer for all of us. It worked for her. (Yes, I'm taking credit for her successful pregnancy.) It looks like it might work for me. Who knows how far-reaching the power of the VIKING RUNE CANDLE will turn out to be!

  1. I'm still so upset that there were not Viking Rune Candles to be found in the land of the Vikings. Do they not realize the incredible power of their ancestor's candle-making?

Thanks for lighting the candle for those of us still out here.

  5. LOVE the VIKING RUNE CANDLE lady story.

Did you light that candle last night? Because for some reason, I felt kind of glow-y and positive... not usual for me these days. That candle is powerful stuff ;)

  10. maybe the tech guys at work can block my access to google. that's the only way i'll stay away! okie, well if you get flu shot, ask for the one without thimerosol (mercury). i had to call 4 different docs bc 3/4 only had the one with mercury, which is more abundant.

  12. Headed to Odin's r Us to stock up. You witches need anything while I'm there?

    Ha! I crack myself up.

Seriously, just find the wiccan in your office or department and they'll point you to a place to get all the runes you handle. Your friend's progress gives us hope. I am thrilled that she's made it through such a mess to have a child of her own.

  13. Thanks for the prayer. We need it.

I like that you changed your intro to include that you are now pregnant. You're actually saying it now. It must be so awesome to say: "I'm pregnant".

  16. I just can't get the picture of bunny dressed up as a witch and dancing around her VIKING RUNE CANDLE out of my head.
I'm not sure how far the vapour of the rune would flow though, have doubts that it would make it from you all the way over to my side of the world so I may have to follow misfits link and buy me some of my own.

  17. I'll take it, my friend. Who knows . . .

Have you heard of the Catholic tradition of burying St. Joseph in your yard when you are trying to sell your house? Who's the Patron Saint of Fertility? Mary? Couldn't be, could it? Although IVF could be argued to be a form of immaculate conception ... hmmm. ANYWAY.

Maybe I need to get a Saint and a shovel myself.
